In many ways, Inside is an evolution of many of the gameplay, visual, and audio concepts first explored by the studio in its previous game. This one is perhaps obvious, but if you haven’t been plugged into Playdead’s previous work, you should track down a copy of Limbo right away. Playdead is preparing to launch its next project, Inside, as a timed Xbox One exclusive sometime in 2015. Hopefully the PS4 version will be available shortly, and anyone who hasn’t yet played Limbo needs to do so as soon as humanly possible. The Xbox One version then went live on Xbox Live as a purchasable download. Originally, Limbo was released as an Xbox 360 exclusive back in 2010.īut since then, Limbo has been released on PS3, PS Vita, iOS, Steam and then at the end of last year it was launched on Xbox One.Įarly Xbox One adopters were given a free copy of Limbo as a present in early November.
